Host A Dinner Party
During the Dining With Friends season there are about 50 coordinated dinner parties. The season concludes when supporters come together in one place, for one unforgettable night at the dessert reception.
Many people find it easier and more enjoyable to team with others to co-host a party. You choose the type of party you wish to have and it can be formal or casual. The guest list is also at your discretion but we always say the more the merrier.
In the past we have had dinners take place at homes, businesses, churches, and restaurants. Ranging from sit-down dinners, to large cocktail buffets, to backyard barbeques, the menu and style of dinner party is at the host's discretion.
A minimum of $50 is donated by each dinner guest at each party and all proceeds benefit the AIDS Action Coalition. As a party host, all costs of the party are tax deductible.
This year's dessert reception is May 19th at the Hudson Alpha's Jackson Center in research park. Party hosts distribute tickets to the dessert reception to their guests at the dinner party they host. Please contact the agency for tickets to pass out at your party.
If you are unable to make it to a party but still wish to attend the dessert reception, you may purchase event tickets online at www.diningwithfriends.org.
