Blood test that helps your provider determine if you are resistant to any of the HIV medications. It helps the provider determine the regimen that is going to be best for you. Some ways resistance may occur is from unprotected sexual contact with someone who already has HIV drug resistance or from starting and stopping your HIV medications.
